Raising CYA with Dichlor

I converted to the SLAM method 2 years ago and have convinced others to do so--I've saved thousands of dollars!!

My current CYA is 20 and I'd like to try and raise it with some left over Chlor-Brite, which is 99% sodium dichloro-s-triazinetrione, providing 56% available chlorine.

Does anyone know the math to determine how much Chlor-Brite (dichlor) to add to raise my CYA another 10PPM?

Use PoolMath. At the bottom is the Effects of Adding Chemicals.

Be sure your pool volume is correct at the top of the calculation page.

Take Care.
