R-011L CH test bottle tip

This is a new reagent bottle from TF Test Kits refill set that I’ve used a few times now. Since I have to lay the bottles horizontally to store in a box, this one always leaks a little into the cap. It’s looks like the tip was cut or slightly modified somehow. Wondering if this is normal, and how to make it stop leaking?

I store my reagents vertically, but the R-011L leaks into the cap regardless.
