Quick Guide for Seasonal/Temporary Pools ? - Testing

I'm using the quick guide for my Intex Easy Set. I followed the guide, including purchasing the two way test kit. I just realized that the two way kit that the guide said I would need doesn't cover CYA. I guess I'm a bit confused why the guide recommends a two way kit (Chlorine and pH) because that doesn't cover CYA. Is CYA pretty stable and just not that important to test when starting the year fresh? Or did I make a mistake buying a kit that doesn't test for it? How vital is the test for the CYA numbers?

Thanks.

Because the seasonal pools are so small, and new water has no CYA in it, we simply use the PoolMath to determine how much stabilizer to add. Once you add that amount - it's in. Consider the CYA goal achieved. More than likely you will dump the water a change it throughout the season, and you'll just do the same again at that time. So there's no need to continually test CYA like with larger pools that keep their water.

Thank you sir!
