Questions about NPC pool plaster start up instructions

Hi All,

I have a quick follow up question. I spoke to the pool company who did my plaster and i said to them i lowered my ph to 7.6 and he said that i should go lower than that to 7.2 to get the surface exposed more quickly. I have no idea what any of that means and im not an expert. Am i ok to go down to ph of 7.2?

Im in Florida if that makes a difference?

Never thought id be starting up a pool in the middle of a hurricane lol

It is not what I would do and the reasons were explained earlier in this thread.

You have to decide whose advice you want to follow. We explained why.

I don't know why you want to get more surface exposed or what that even means.

Plaster chemistry is the same through out the world.
