We just had a 18x54 AGP installed and we are getting ready
to start landscaping. The question we have is it
ok to put the river rock right up against the pool wall? Do we need
to have a barrier between the pool wall and the river rock?
Just added 1 1/2" river rock around the base, I rolled the Gorrila liner up against the pool as a safeguard than put the rock around and there was no issue.
I've never heard of it being a problem. Ours is right up against the pool wall. If you google or go on Pinterest and look up images of landscaping for above ground pools and river rock you'll see many images of the rocks right up to the pool wall.
