Question about the pool equipment that was installed vs what is on the contract.

I've had both a Salt System & Autocover for 12 years. No damage to cover that I can see? And in 12 years I've never had algae.

Hi there! Our pool builder just installed the following equipment and I'm hoping to get some insight as to if this is better or worse than what we should have had installed?

Installed: Waterway Oasis Automation Controller
Contracted: Pentair Intelliconnect Screen Logic WiFi Enabled Pool Automation

Installed: Pentair Clean and Clear 150
Contracted: Sta-Rite Posi Clear 150 Cartridge Filter

Installed: Pentair Automatic In-Line Chlorine/Bromine Feeder Model #320
Contracted: CMP In-Line Chlorinator

Now I'm also questioning if this all looks right?

It doesn't look like they included the WiFi antenna for the Waterway nor valve actuators. They should have installed the Waterway 770-1006-PSW2 kit that had all in the box. No point in having automation that doesn't do more than a mechanical time clock would. By itself the Oasis is more expensive than the IntelliConnect, with the whole kit it is more. It doesn't look like the builder is giving you what you are paying for.

That's good to hear. As far as the tab feeder goes, if I have a check valve installed as someone had mentioned, would that be okay?

Check valve will only help until it, too, is damaged by the highly corrosive solution that will occur. You don't know that it is happening until it is too late.
