Question about proper construction of a submerged spa

This type of spa is built as a +0” for the look of not being able to see the spa wall and giving the pool a larger look but must be constructed with a specific elevation in conjunction with the skimmers operating water level.

I also agree that your overflow pipe was not the most efficient design and the “WaterWay” rectangle version gives a lower profile of a 3” pipe so the skimmer has more flexibility in water heights.

The spa in the picture provided has the water level within a 1/8” from top of the tile line , this has to be coordinated with the auto-fill to maintain this level.IMG_5033.pngIMG_5034.png
