Question about new SWG installation

Hello,
I received my Crystal Pure 60000 SWG system today. I have attached a picture of my plumbing. Is the check valve really needed? Can I get rid of it and install the cell on that line? Thank you.

A check valve is not required to protect your equipment from a SWG. Does your current system have a tablet dispenser? Curious why the check valve is there.

Good to know that I don't need it. No, there is not tablet dispenser. It was installed when we hired someone to put in a new filter.
