Question about daily storage of robot cleaner (Polaris P935)

Hi all,

My mind keeps drifting to opening our pool in May - it can't come soon enough! I am going into my second year as a pool owner. I sort of recall reading here and there about daily storage of robot cleaners and wanted to ask about that.

Last season I was storing my robot on the included 'cart' and placing it inside my shed. Would there be any issue with just leaving it outside, say against my house? I have a spot where the robot wouldn't get much direct hot sun so the only exposure would be to rain. Any issue with this you think?

Like I said in the other post, I have three of these things... None of them has ever been stored inside. I suspect it would help a little but I am just not that kind of guy.. The one at my house gets parked under the soffit, so not much sun exposure.

I can say that I believe that wrapping the cable up on the caddy is one of the worst things that you can do. I suspect it helps the cable to take a "set" which then causes it to get tangled easier... I leave mine on the deck with very large loops...
