Question about brushing

I brush the walls and floor after I vacuum. If I do it immediately before, the dust I want to vacuum up is all stirred up. I also brush some on days when I don't vacuum, just to get the stuff off the walls so maybe it will settle where I can vacuum it up. You'd think it would all settle, but it's not so different from airborne dust. Why would it stick to windows and walls and not settle on the floor?

If you have any doubts about how well mixed chlorine or acid are, reach for the brush. A few swipes this way and that will get things mixed. It's like stirring cream into coffee but on a massive scale.

Just curious 🤔 about when to brush. I do brush the walls every week but I'm wondering, do you brush before or after vacuuming and before or after adding chlorine??

I always wondered about that too. I looked up a video recently (I think it was from Leslie's). I'm following what that suggested for now. I turn off the skimmer so all the suction is in the main drain. I brush the steps and all the walls. Then I brush everything into the deep end, and try to brush it into the main drain. I wait a little while, then I vacuum. Hopefully, almost all of the crud is in the deep end, so that cuts down on my vacuuming time. I try to add chlorine later, after the sun is off my pool.
