I’ve been dealing with a mystery I cannot solve. My water was crystal clear all season post opening and all levels were good. Then last week when I tested the water, the FC was zero. I went to add pucks (which were somehow all depleted (5) from the chlorinator after 3 days) after which I added a few pounds of PH increased to bring ph up to 7.6 from 7.2. Suddenly the next day my water became persistently cloudy, (which can be expected sometimes from adding ph increaer) and I have algae film on the floor. I’ve been dealing cloudy water and reappearing algae ever since with no resolution - it’s been a week. Chlorine levels are not dropping and being maintained at 10-15ppm this whole time. Also, worthy mention may be that when I opened the pump to clean the basket that same day a week ago, it was green, and it was entrenched into the basket, and I couldn’t clean it under the water pressure from the hose - which is odd considering the pump basket obv has water rushing through it all day. I’ve been brushing 1-2x a day. And each time it’s either a green or light brown cloud that comes up. I also backwash the sand filter daily, and must say that the water thats coming out is not too dirty and not green and pressure is either normal to +5 psi higher. Pump has been on 24/7 for a week already
