Hello from Fort Worth, TX. We are in the beginning stages of installing a pool. Have met with 2 builders and are meeting with 2 more. I think my biggest question right now is salt water or chlorine? So many other choices I’m not sure of but are more aesthetics, I think.

Keep in mind salt or no salt, they both do the same thing ... add chlorine. Either a salt generator is creating chlorine from salt, or you're adding it manually. Many installers shy away from salt as if it's excessively corrosive, but it's not. If it becomes an issue between you and the builder, just ensure they leave you adequate room after the filter to add one yourself later. But an SWG is a great choice nowadays. I did mine last year just before the VOCID thing hit. Glad I did. Good luck!
