Hi Similar / related question. We have just install a Pureline SWG. Our cl levels are holding steady but when we check the diagnostics throughout the day we often see current as zero when the pump is on and the generating light is illuminated. also instant salinity shows at zero at this time. Outputs typically set at around 50% readings (copied from above and tweaked):
Salt: 3300
Temp: 84
Voltage: 23.3
Amperage: 0.00
Output: 48%
Instant: 0000
Model: AT-5
Rev: R-646
Cell: T-15

Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
When the cell is in the non-generation time (you have it set for 48% on, 52% off) the generating light is still illuminated but your readouts will show the cell not generating, as it is not.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook.

Hi
We have had a pool now for around 5 years and just switched over to SWG - pureline variable speed pump & SWG generator. So far (one week in) the cl levels are holding pretty steady however when we check on the diagnostics throughout the day we often see the current as zero when the generating light is on.
Diagnotics typically read:
Salt: 3300
Temp: 84
Voltage: 23.3
Amperage: 0.00
Output: 48%
Instant salinity: 0000
is this normal? We have been panicking and turning off & on again and seeing the current come back.

Any advice thoughts comments greatly apprecaited?

Hi Thank you for your quick reply and clarification. One more question - how does the SWG determine the length of time to be generating and not generating - is it 48% of each hour?
