Wanted some opinions on pump layout. PB has 4 pumps in his design. Lazy river is only 35’ around, so not looking for more than a REALLY lazy river. Obviously looking for performance and efficiency. 4 pumps seems like overkill.

22k gallon pool/spa
IC-40
Pentair sand dollar
Intellitouch w screen logic

He has in his design plan...
1.5hp VSP for main pool and spa (2 skimmer, 1 pool main with 4 returns, 1 spa main with 8 returns.)
1.5hp single speed for grotto/slide and waterfalls off bridge (waterfall pump better?)
2- 2hp single speed for lazy river. (Suctions on opposite side of pool, 4 returns per pump in each half of river).

Not sure of flow requirements for water features. He plans on all 2” pipe. Equipment pad location and overall dimensions attached.

Also, the main swim area is 22x25, not 18x22 like the sharpie suggests.
