Pump trips breaker

When I make waves in my pool my motor trips the breaker. Any idea why this is the only time it happens?

Making waves should not pop any breakers.. But if the pump is an SVRS pump, it will often cause the pump to shut off..

Does your pump actually trip a circuit breaker, or does the pump just stop running until you reset it..

Is it by chance an IntelliFlo with SVRS?? If so, you will just have to live with it.. I know, as I have one...

Is this a new pump or an old pump?

If it's the svrs variety it may not happen if you keep the water level a bit higher so the the skimmer doesn't get affected.
