Pump Setting recommendations

Hello, a little nervous asking my first question as I hope to provide the information you need. This will be our second summer with the pool. The first year we had a pool company taking care of the pool and setting the pump timings.

Now that the weather is warming up, I would like to ask the best pump settings for warm weather. We have a Pentair Intelliflo 2 VST variable speed pump.

What are the recommendations for when the pump should be running? For how long and at what speed? Looks like I could possible set 4 different settings.

Determine Pump Run Time

To figure out how many hours you need to run your pump, you need to know how fast your pump works. You can find this here.

Take a look at the article linked above. With a VS pump, you need to run it at a speed that allows for skimming of your pool surface. You do not show you have a SaltWater Chlorine Generator, so I will assume you are using liquid chlorine and adding that daily to sanitize your pool water. Just be sure the pool runs for at least 30 minutes after you add the chlorine.
