That's not very much information to go on but, whenever the word"pulsating" or "rhythmic" is posted, it frequently points to not enough water in the pool or a stuck weir door. Because of the low water level, the pump sucks air at the skimmer.

Yeah, if you have enough water in the pool, it sounds like you have a suction side air leak. Please read the article on them in pool school. It may help you locate it.
