Pump leaking

Our pump is starting to sound different. It is also starting to leak. My initial guess is that a seal is going out. I am wondering if it is worth repairing the pump or is throwing a new one in there a better option? Any guidance on doing either? Thanks in advance for any input!

Looks like a Sta-Rite Dura-Glas model number P2RA5D-180L.

The motor was made at the end of 2018, so it was probably installed in 2019, which makes it only about 2 years old.

The pump looks older, but I am not sure by how much.

Sounds like you should repair the pump if it is just a seal leaking that has not yet damaged the motor. If you need a new motor then consider the VGreen VS motor or at least a 2 speed motor.
