So I finally figured out how to utilize the variable speed pump and I followed a YouTube that gave me some great tips and settings on how to schedule my pool with high and low speeds. well for some reason the pool filter still stays on past my 7 PM timeframe unless I manually shut it off on the app. I tried to not overlap the times and give it a minute between each change and then the overall pump filter to run in the duration. Am I doing something wrong? I programmed the VSP to do a high and low setting throughout the day to help reduce my electricity bill. See attached picture of my settings.

Remove all programming and start over. You have too many overlapping programs that "confuse" the automation.

I probably watched the same videos you did. They seemed to make sense, but I had crazy problems similar to yours when I tried their way.
I got it working by setting up the basic "Filter pump" item up as the low speed (shows up as "Pool" speed in the VSP setup screen), then just adding one schedule item (actually one morning and one evening) that kicks up the speed for cleaning.
You can ignore the "Cleaner" lines:
Note I want a 24x7 schedule but cannot get it without the few minutes off every day. Sigh... Jandy's firmware is quirky.
One other note.... Probably doesn't apply. But there's a thread here somewhere that says heating schedules can cause the filter pump to run even if it wouldn't otherwise. I have no personal experience with this.
