Pump and filter part identification

Hi all! I’m new to pool ownership and the forum. We just bought a home that came with an above ground pool. I’m learning a ton about maintenance but have hit a wall identifying the filter positions on my sand pump because the stickers have worn off. Also I have a significant leak in a part that is connected to the pump (a pre-filter perhaps?). Can anyone tell me the positions of each of the filter settings and tell me what part is leaking? (Photos attached). Much appreciated!!

First off I suggest finding a store that sells a sticker for the top of the multiport it will save you a lot of guessing.

Looking at the valve the position the handle is in, from the photo looks like filter. This is the normal run position.

180 degrees from this is backwash. So to backwash the filter, after turning the pump off turn handle 180 degrees water should start coming out to waste when you do this and the pump is on.

As pictured the notch to the top left is rinse. After backwash put the valve in rinse for about 30 seconds to enable the sand to settle back down, again turn pump off when moving valve.

The leaking part is a prepump strainer or hair and lint pot depending on language. It certainly shouldn't be clamped and taped up as it should be regularly cleaned and inspected. I assume from the photo a new one is required.

Hope that helps.
