My filter pressure is 10 psi when running the pump at 1750 RPMs and 20 PSI at 2750 RPMs. I assumed that was normal but read that the PSI shouldn't change significantly at higher speeds. This doesn't seem logical but thought I would ask the experts. Thanks for responses in advance.

You need to change what you are reading!!!!!
What you are seeing is the way the system will work..
Faster speeds mean higher PSI..

Flow should increase by 1.57 times.
Pressure should increase by 2.47 times.
Power use will increase by 3.88 times.
10 x 2.47 = 24.7 psi.
