I am sure I am missing something simple, but I cannot figure out how to get my pump program to work correctly - I have all Jandy equipment.

My filter program and Speed 3 is set 7-3 every day. Speed 3 is supposed to be 2,000 RMPs. I checked this morning and my pump was running at 3,000 RMPs and when I went to the equipment on/off menu to change the VSP mode it was set to “Pool” which is 3,000 RPMs. I selected Speed 3 from that menu and it was at 2,750 not 2,000 RMPs.

Do I need to change the “Pool” speed? I think I’ve tried that already and it just goes back to 3,000 RPMs every time. Is there another place to set the default for those speeds?8B97CB39-6285-4464-93BC-749928DED35A.jpegB57E179C-655E-4FCA-940D-276F6EAE0EB0.jpeg69FCB211-60F7-48F6-9A53-86A2463F660E.jpeg

It has been a while since I had to program my PDA as I transitioned to the iAquaLink app. However the Pool speed is the speed at which the filter pump will run when there are no other programs running. Also, the system will always run the higher speed when 2 programs Overlap.

So if you have your Pool set from 6am to 6pm (example) at 3000rpm and you have Speed 3 set from 7am to 3pm at 2000 rpm
The pool will always run at 3000 rpm.
You need to reverse the settings. Put Pool at the lowest speed you want the pump to run and then put other programs at a higher RPM
So in my example, have Pool at 2000rpm and then your Speed 3 at 3000rpm

How many programs can you set for Speed? If memory serves me correctly, my PDA only allowed 2 programs but I had an old PDA, the version prior to yours.

Alternatively, you can set 2 different programs such as 7am to 3pm at xxxrpm and another program at 4pm to 8pm at x rpm. These programs do not conflict so they will run at the designated speed that is selected.
