I'm closing for the first time. My plan is to copy the person's process who closed it last year (first time after pool build). I bought a cyclone and I will be blowing out from the skimmer. My openings are three outlets (jets) and two laminars (water feature). My plan is to blow from the skimmer and close off the jets one at a time in the order of how they come from the pump. Then I will switch the actuator over to the laminars and blow them out. Then I will open the drain plugs to the pump and the heater and drain the bottom of the filter housing.
Questions:
Should I remove the filter first?
Does it matter if I cap off the jets in order? I think the order is basically, the distance from the pump.
