Do you still have the original capacitor? Might toss that back in. Geeez, so sorry for all your issues. Check all your line voltage again...just in case. Breaker is okay? Flip it off and on a couple of times just to be sure and to run it a bit although I think you've already done that just in working on the pump! The capacitor is only part of the starting system...there is also the windings that impart the phase-shifted field (helped to be phase shifted by the capacitor). I'm not quite sure how to check those but make sure all connections are good and tight. No loose wires...no frayed wires...you know the drill by now but look again. Maybe blow it out good with compressed air for good measure. More earwigs?! LOL
