I have been adding acid like crazy to get the alkalinity lowered to no avail.
My free chlorine after shocking for 2 hours with my SWG and auto cover closed after adding a pound of stabilizer
I just realized that my calcium hardness is high.
Pools is 6600 gal. auto cover/ auto fill
Salt water / gunite.
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to TFP.

We don't think your water chemistry tests are reliable to give advice.

To get advice, we need chemistry tests from your own test kit. A Taylor K-2006C or TFT Test Kits

Welcome, in addition to the above alkalinity is probably the least important parameter to worry about. The pH and chlorine levels are way more important.
