Hello all. Just found this forum while looking to solve a problem with my LED pool lights. My lights are LED that has the colors red (or magenta), white, green and what looks like purple. The lights are controlled by a water proof wall switch. Turn the switch on and they will cycle through all the colors or i can turn the switch off and back on to get it to stay on one particular color.
Now, the problem im having is one light works perfect, the other one, cycles through all the colors at random or doesn't come on at all. When the light don't come on, the other light cycles rapidly through the colors. If i turn the switch off and back on it stops cycling and stays a solid color and the other light remains off.
I have no clue what the make of the lights are ( I recently purchased the house). Through internet research i think they are either Jandy pro series lights or SAVI. They were installed with the pool in 2015
I tried to remove the light, it doesn't have the single phillips holding it in. They have really small torx type screws around the clear cover. I can unscrew the whole assembly and it looks like the photo below. The problem is i can't pull it completely out to get it on the coping, it's like somthing is holding it. My questions are.
Is this problem with the light itself or the transformer?
Is there a trick to getting this assembly completely out? or is this the correct way?
I hope i described everything okay and sorry this is my first post. Go easy on me..LOL
