I am trying to build a pressure testing kit for our new installs. I have been looking at Milwaukee 2848-20 compressor. Compact, battery operated and not super expensive. Should I also create a manifold after the compressor with a regular gauge that’s not digital and a valve so I can isolate the system from the compressor? Also Im having a hard time finding plugs with quick connectors. They are all schrader valves. Or would it be possible to make a hose adapter for it to work?

Most pressure testing is done through a Schrader valve. You need a setup like this gentleman uses and the appropriate fittings to block the plumbing.
