Pressure sensor for AquaLink RS8?

I'm looking to monitor my filter pressure to know when to clean my grids. I've seen the wireless (BT) pressure transducer option, but was curious if there was a wired option that plugs in and uses the AquaLink RS8.
Anything like that available?

Unless there's something I'm unaware of, Aqualink has no provisions for monitoring system pressure. Does your filter clog so rapidly that just manually going out there and looking at it now and then is troublesome?

Nope, it can't do that. Your equipment should be monitored in person at least weekly, so the gauge is the best option.

Fwiw, if you have a VSP and automation that reports watts used by the pump, you may have a built-in indicator. My experience has been that a filter ready for cleaning corresponds to a decrease in pump watts of a few percent at moderate speed, e.g. at 2500 rpm, 5 to 10%.

NB: Kind of interesting that higher filter pressure corresponds to fewer watts, but when you think about the physics, it makes sense. Pressure alone does no work. The work done by the pump is moving water. Less water == less work == fewer watts.
