Probably. Evidentally from deep in the plumbing. I'd buy another tub of ahhsome and run 2 more cycles as directed. It appears to have found the gunk we were looking for.

I'm just thrilled we got that AHA moment. It's pretty hard to argue against what the ahhsome produced after all this time. All the rest of it needed finding/proving anyway. It wasn't for naught. Imagine still wondering what was going on in the filter and waiting for it to possibly bite you ? Heck naw. But we may finally have the last of it so today we dance.

This year my water has stayed clear. Like TFP clear
(except last Saturday and I truly believe the skimmer sock was so full, water couldn’t pass through caused the cloudiness, because it cleared up in a few hours)
But right now, after adding ahhsome my water is extra beautiful even tho the nasties are still in there
Side note - I didn’t put the ahhsome directly into the skimmer . I’m sure you guys have advised against adding things to the skimmer. First time (this year) I just chunked pieces into the pool and they just got caught in the skimmer sock til dissolved) this time I did a bucket of pool water and dissolved most of ahhsome then poured around the pool

However at that time, I wasn’t aware of or following tfp.
So even tho I cleared the plumbing my chemistry was so out of whack well no progress was made.
I’m finding the combination tfp and ahhsome seems to be a good one for me

At some point, and sadly I'm not psychic or I'd be playing lotto for a living, you will have erased all proof of the pre-tfp days and it'll only be tfp going forward. No idea if it's 2 or 22 tho.
For hot tubs, once the gunk stops, there's none left. Being extra I go for a couple of runs coming out clear. Sometimes it takes more than the initial dose to loosen it all up, which appears to be the case here.

So for easy math,
do I count 1 qt 12.5% Lc as raising fc by 3?
So far I’m only seeing goo in the skimmer not on the floor etc.
If filter pressure has raised it’s very insignificant. Maybe from 20 psi to 20.5
So, still not passing but seem pretty close

Whether or not you see it, you have a vortex going on. I often see beetles or small debris taking laps when it looks like the water is still. Your gunk is evidentally sticky so it's latching onto the skimmer like sunblock or such would.
Yeah. 3.1 is just silly.

Cya is 40 so slam is 16, bit I’m using 12.5% and the math is easier if I round up

I believe the ahhsome (or gunk it loosens) may contribute to a higher fc demand for a bit .
