Possible to leave cover off ?

If I winterize and blow out the lines and do everything like a normal close would it hurt anything to leave the ugly winter cover off ? We don’t have any trees around the pool and also have a Polaris robot if I need to run it - just thinking I’d rather look at the water vs the cover

Also, your chemicals will be lost at a faster rate so you will have to keep checking chemistry and manually adding and mixing in chemicals as needed.
