Possible leak, professionally installed, leaking by stainless / skimmer area. What would you do?

I'm pretty sure I have a leak as It keeps pooling in one area buy the skimmer/stainless panel.
I dug out 21 inches (counter sinked the pool) but had 2 inch hard rain, was lucky to have some water in the pool, I pumped out all the water (around the area they dug out) but that one area keeps "pooling"

The company offered new liner and pay labor/water bill or patch and give me new liner for the future. What should I do, pool is fresh install not even back filled yet

Post pics of the problem area and show us the skimmer.

Was the liner cut wrong around the skimmer?

Was the skimmer properly installed with the gaskets placed correctly?

nothing has been cut yet, its late otherwise it get you a pic, but might have one on phone,
new abg pool waiting for skimmer and jet cuts (tomorrow they come) so I didn't know what to do.

edit, old pic of the problem from the rain, this is prob no help. but that one area still has water pooling slow, very slow, maybe 2-3 gallons max a day after a crazy right day after instal.

So no cuts have been made in the liner yet and the pool company agrees the liner is leaking?

Have they identified where the leaks are and the extent patches would be necessary?

they did agree with me without seeing it, they are actually getting me new liner tomorrow, pool installers are coming tom, pic above from the massive rain, but I have since drained the outside using water pump, but this one area still gets a gallon or 3 a day, was installed last wens, rained thurs 2.5 inches

And you're positive its not just stagnant water pooling from rain and poor ground water drainage?

Put a good dose of chlorine in the pool. Then test the water outside the next day. I think it's poor drainage......another easy way is to also tape a line of water level and see if it stops next day. Very rare to have a leak with no cuts
