I got some superfine dirt my sand filter can't get. I don't want to dump water to waste if I don't need to. Is there a type of vacuum/ pump combo that maybe pumps out a garden hose? I tried a polish setup of duct taping my cover pump to a shop vac hose/head to the skimmer pole. It does work somewhat. I have some neighbor issues and I can control a garden hose where it goes and it is not dumping as much water.

You would probably have an easier time getting a slime bag to attach to your return and just vacuum to filter. The slime bag will catch what the filter allows to pass through.
