Poolvergnuegen Pool Vacuum Hose Too Long?

Is it possible to have the hose too long on my vacuum? We have a new system and the pool guys put the hose on. Is it possible it was too short? I put another 3 foot section in

because the vacuum would tilt over when it gets down to the end of the pool. IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE THE HOSE TOO LONG AND WHAT ARE THE RAMIFICATIONS IF IT IS TOO LONG.

You should have enough hose to reach about 5 feet past the farthest edge of the pool. Also, check the height of the hose floats. If they are too high, it might tip over in shallow water.
There are no ramifications with an extra 3 feet of hose. If it works, go with it!

Do you have a 2 wheel or 4 wheel Poolvergnugen? The 2 wheel might struggle to pull a long length of hose and stay upright.

I have the 2 wheel, I put the floats about 12 inches above the cleaner and it works better...

Thanks for all of the comments. I have discovered that too short is a problem and too long is not a problem. I have the 4 wheel vacuum.
