I suggest you put reasonability bounds around the maximum and minimum test results PM will recommend chemical doses for. Outside those limits PM should say to consult the Forum.

We just had a member think they had a pH of 14 and added 3 gallons of MA and crashed their pH and TA. PM will give recommendations for ridiculous test values.

PM is a great tool but in some cases it should direct people to go to the Forum.

PoolMath did not tell this user to add 3 gallons of MA, I just plugged in the numbers and it suggests 160 gallons. I doubt any reasonable person would have seen that number and not questioned it.

I don’t know if that person used PM or not but I don’t think PM should give chemical recommendations beyond certain limits. I never tried PM before with unreasonable numbers.
