pool was cloudy from all the rain lately, I shocked it but miscalculated now its at 37 ppm

When you come off slam it's always good practice to take it for slam one extra day with a OCLT to follow.
You mentioned pool robots....I'd clean/soak those filters too.

so that's what I did, I am coming off of SLAM, doing an OCLT , about to go out and check in a few . its not yellow anymore its like beautiful blue water but its cloudy still... if I pass OCLT then im going to test the rest of the levels again and see what is going on...

the only thing I can attribute to this is I was away for work for a week straight, I didn't leave the robot in the pool (was afraid of daad rodents ending up in there and getting eaten by the robot, which has happened to me and sucks) then it was windy/stormy prob lots of pollen/debri blowing into the pool. then it just went downhill from there

If its still cloudy then you keep slamming.
All 3 must be true at the same time to end the SLAM Process -
* crystal clear water with no recurring algae (dead or alive)
* pass Overnight Chlorine Loss Test
* cc’s of 0.5 or less

Are you using liquid chlorine?

ok it passed the OCLT

my FC was 22 Fri night, and was 22 sat morning (just now) and a CC of 0 both times

CYA is about a 50> maybe slightly higher closer to 60

my question is why is it so cloudy... blue but cloudy you can't see the main drain

I am technically still above SLAM level for my FC/CYA RATIO

its a SWG pool but yes I have been using 12.5% liquid chlorine

is it possible the high FC level is making it cloudy? just simply because its been high for about a week

No, Dead algae makes it cloudy- keep filtering & doing all the things as outlined in the article.

Just making sure you aren’t using cal hypo - large doses of calcium products can cause cloudiness.

A 2 day timeframe to fully complete the slam process as you mentioned in your first post is unusual. More often than not it can take a week or more depending upon the starting conditions. Have patience and do all the things.

What type of filter do you have?

Hayward sand filter

You might consider adding POOL DE to your filter to help with filtration...

Always round up to the next 10. Your CYA is 60. Your SLAM target is 24.

Keep the SLAM going until you pool water looks like this...Link-->How Clear is TFP Clear?

so the other day I vacuumed to waste, then added 1/4 cup of DE, ran filter pool started getting a little clearer was keeping an eye on filter pressure, couple days later added another 1/4 cup of DE, and the pressure jumped up slightly again and now it is starting to get clear. so good call on the DE thanks !

also I shut my SWG off and the chlorine level is taking forever to burn off

You want to MAINTAIN SLAM level fc until all 3 end of slam criteria are met:
✅ CC is 0.5 or lower;
✅ You pass an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test
AND
✅ The water is clear.
(Crystal Clear w/no algae dead or alive)
