Pool Volume

`I used the PENTAIR calculator that was posted on the site and got my irregular kidney shaped pool to show about 15,000 gallons.

Now I also have a spill over hot tub, 7ft6in in diameter and 3 ft deep, although its a step/seat type hot tub so its not 3 feet all throughout.

Any suggestions on how to add volume to the pool?

Welcome to TFP.

Check out the pool volume calculator on this page. Set it to "round" and calculate two areas; the area above the seat and the area below the seat. Add the two for approximate volume. Should be pretty straightforward.

Thank you. Will try.

Download Pool Math app and plug in your "suspected" volume. Then adjust your Ph or Chlorine according to the app. Then see if the dosing adjusted accordingly. If it was too much difference, then your volume was too high. If not enough difference, then your volume was too low.
