Pool vinyl liner pulling out along edge

We moved into this house three summers ago now, pool is now 5 years old, but even the first summer we were here we'd noted the pool liner was pulling out along the edges in a few areas (four different places). It's largely stable over the time we've been here but I never thought to consider if there would be a way to fix it. Perhaps using a heat gun very gently to get the vinyl softer to stretch a bit (but afraid to try it lest I tear it and learn later that was a stupid idea). Guessing it's probably not fixable without just replacing the liner completely.

Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Photo of one of the areas attached for reference. Other areas are similar - a few inches affected in each spot.

I use my thumbs and the friction helps it stretch when need be. Start at the ends and work towards the middle and it should pop right back in.

Liner lock is a rubber wedge strip that holds areas like that in place. It's $30 for 120ft on amazon. I'd do the whole pool for the cost and the 10 mins it takes.

I really need to get out there and give this another try. I've tried a few times before and I couldn't get the edge to budge at ALL but perhaps I should just try to apply some more force. Thanks all for your help!
Mine did that and I managed to fix it. Mine also wouldn’t budge. I heated it up to make it more pliable by pouring boiling water on it. Obviously you want to be careful and not burn yourself.
