So, the original set up was a standard 18x 48" vinyl pool with a intex 633T 2500gph pump., and we had a "Bestway 58304E, flowclear pool cleaner".
It would attach to one of the smaller 1 1/4 outlets and we plug up the other,,and the vac would go about its business.
So today,, i installed the Hayward skimmer,, hooked up our new 30 ft x 1 1/2 " pool hose to the vac and the skimmer ,turned it on,,, and the vac goes extremely slowly, even to the point of just stopping, there is very good suction at the bottom of the vac,, perhaps maybe too good that its sticking to the floor?
On the original set up, the bestway vac hose would attach to a Z shaped "pressure regulator", ,now with switching over that is not an option..
Any ideas ? ,
maybe i need to get a fitting to be able to attach the pressure regulator to the skimmer vac connection, or do i just need to buy a better pool vac,, ?
