Hello all -
I just went to adjust my Jandy valves to run my Hayward XL pool vac. I have a suction side inlet on pool wall for vac.
First I fully opened the vac valve (by closing the main drain valve).
Next I fully closed the far skimmer valve (thus allowing suction from now fully open vac valve).
But when I fully close the near skimmer valve I got massive air in the pump basket (which goes away when I reopen that valve).
I checked each piece of vac hose and all good there.
Is this happening because the vac hose is too small relative to the 2" pumping my pool has ?
