Pool sweep sweephose

My Polaris 280 the sweep hose keeps aiming up I had this happen once before can’t remember how I fixed it any suggestions.

Aiming up as in spraying water out of the pool? If so, I highly recommend buying the Tailsweep Pro attachment. After installing it on my cleaner, it rarely sprays water. I see there is also a copycat version on Amazon. Polaris also has a weight which is supposed to help, but it didn't work for me.

even when it's moving along the bottom the sweep hose goes up. I do plan on replacing all the pool sweep hoses this year thinking they are 2002 when the pool was built (bought with the pool) it's just time. I did a complete rebuild of the sweep last year except the hoses. I will check the Tail sweep pro attachment Thanks

Do you think the tail attachment would keep him from eating his tail? I find he has sucked his tail into the debris intake hole on the bottom and then can’t clean the floors.
