Pool stains

Hello,

I have these stains that started last season and now are more apparent. They are reddish brown and I thought they were metallic stains but when I applied ascorbic acid today there has been no resolution of the stain. I applied the ascorbic acid after getting pH down to 0.

A SLAM has already been done about 2-3 weeks ago when pool was opened for the season. Any ideas on what I should do?

To be honest I do not know age of the pool/plaster as I moved into this house 1 year ago. The house was built in 1999 but I do not think the pool is original to the home

Looks like typical old plaster staining.

You should begin saving up for a new plaster job while you enjoy your pool.
