Pool slide repair

So this is the second year of us having a pool. I want to say the pool was installed in 1990 so I assume this slide has had lots of sun and not enough sunscreen. Either way I bit the bullet and decided this year we would repair it. So far this is where we are at.

This is after one coat. The following pictures are after the second coat.



Got one more coat tomorrow. Then the real fun starts, reassembly. ?

Final coat is on and everything looks good. I sanded between coats with 320. Not sure if I'm supposed to sand after the final coat with a extra super fine grit like 3000 or just buff and wax?

Wow, this looks great! We just recently picked up a similar slide from Craigslist. May I ask what you used to refinish it? I love the gloss & am hoping for similar results.
