Pool skimmers are brown, water clear

Hi, I just pulled back my mesh leaf cover to check the chemical balance and noticed my skimmers are brown! The pH is 7.0 and free chlorine is 14 ppm and no combined chlorine present. Salt is at 2200 with water temp of 50.
I added baking soda to bring the pH up. What can I do about the brown stained skimmers?
I am on city water but the majority of that water comes from a spring.

Yes, everything is running as expected. I use K-2006 salt from Taylor. The steps and swim out are perfectly white.
