Pool Size

Hi all- This is my first pool and first post so bare with me. I am trying to use some calculators to find out how many gallons our new pool is. The people we are buying the pool from said it was 44,000 gallons but that sounds huge compared to what I am reading from you guys and they has not seemed to have a lot of info on their pool. I am trying to get in touch with their pool person but have not had any luck.
It is an odd shape so hard to measure. It does have a 9 foot deep end. Could 44,000 gallons be right? Picture attached. Thanks and appreciate your patience!

Welcome to the forum!
Take some measurements. Rough length by width. Average depth. See what you get.
I assume it is a vinyl liner? If so, I think the company that made it can tell yo pretty accurately what the volume is. Might have to subtract 6" of depth for the entire pool area as they would have it to the liner track.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.

I am going to guess 36x20 feet 9 foot deep end, 4 foot shallow, for avg depth of 6.5 equals 35000 gallons.
