Hello, I’m a pool pro with a problem. What else is new! I have a customer with a inground pool that was renovated poorly. The 3 return inlets have no eyeballs, only the lock nut face ring that keeps those eyes inplace. Standard eyeball fittings will not fit. They don’t seat all the way into the fitting. Keeping the face ring from being able to thread on. I tried cutting a eyeball in half and no go. The center circumference of the standard eyeball fitting Is identical to the opening of the return fitting housing for the eyeball. So it sits flush on top and won’t seat down in the fitting. Idk what to do! This pool needs better circulation and can’t get it without some eyeballs!
