Pool remodel question for waterline tile

I am in the process of remodeling my pool area; new pavers over concrete, waterline tile, and pebbletec surface. The paver guy wants the waterline tile replacement business and so does the pool resurfacer.

Is there a compelling reason for one to do it over the other? Both are about the same price. Paver guy will be removing coping and replacing if that factors in.

My .02 is that it is relatively easy work, I'd just go with whomever is lower cost, I'd probably give the edge to the pool resurfacer as they probably do a bit more of that work, my thinking is they might be a bit higher quality overall.

Are their proposed scopes the same? Are they putting grout above the tile or flexible sealant? What kind of grout?

Finally and in my opinion most important - which seems to be the more detailed craftsman? Do they have a wet saw or do they use a grinder? Do they miter outside corners or just butt them together?

If the pool resurfacing company is a bunch of plasterers, I would assume the mason would be more detailed.
