About a year ago found this site and have enjoyed the many ideas on here. We have an large pool 105' perimetier with a deep end of 9 ft built in 1969 the pool had been losing water to a certian spot and stopped. The pipe to the deep in was broken and the drain not working the previous owners had it covered over and the light was also covered over. After interview a half dozen small pool contractors in the area we decided to have the pool plumbing redone and the pool chipped out (about 3 layers of old plaster). After the plumbing was done the contractor started to work on the coping it was crooked and unlevel lipage and all. The next day he never showed back up. Aparently had a fight with his son regarding the business and stated that he was retiring. Left his tools and has not come back for past six months. Fortunatly only out the deposit. I decided to join the fourum and get the pool completed.

No son left the business that is what the fight was about. LOL Only out a little over a grand. Have about that in tools he left behind. Was wondering if I should complete all the prep work and then just sub the plastering out. Maybe add a few features.
