Was considering Ecofinish for our new pool until I found this thread. Wow. I'll just gladly redo the pebbles in 20 years jeez. Flamethrower almost distracted me enough to make me find an installer, but the shrinking plaster makes complete sense and there's no way I'd take the guinea pig route at this point. Maybe in 20 years when I'm redoing the pool I'll see if they've hammered out the details... thanks sincerely to all who posted. I hope they got it all figured out for you - it seems like a great idea if they can get it perfect.
Any further update on these? I am looking to refinish my pool and the eco-finish seems like a good idea, but sounds like it needs extensive prep work.
