Wondering how many hours a day and speeds to run my pump? I have a Hayward ecostar and cartridge filter being used. The pool is 25,500 gallons. From my general understanding you want to turn your pool over once a day. So for kicks if i ran the pump 12hrs a day i need to run 35gpm which is no problem for the pump. Ive been told by some pool people to run it 24hrs a day half on low speed and half on a higher speed. That just seems like to much to me but maybe i'm wrong. Anyone have any input on this subject? Thanks!
