Hello Friends!,

I can call you that because you have worked us through several issues over the past 12 months. With a fast approaching spring we are in need to replace one of our pool pumps. We converted this summer to the
iAquaLink 3.0 RS Conversion Interface Kit IQ30-RS
As the previous owners broke the handheld unit.

We now need to replace one of our pumps and my questions are:

1. Should we just get the same exact pump to replace the one in the pictures? If so what is a replacement model to buy?

2. Should we get a variable speed pump? Is that better that what we currently have? If so what is a model that will work with our system?

3. Best place to purchase one of the above replacements??

Thank as always !

The Jandy ePump which is variable speed will interface with the AquaLink RS. VS would be the best way to improve your energy efficiency.
I have the Pentair IntelliFlo VSF pump (Model 011056) which interfaces with the AquaLink RS (this what I have as well).

It uses a RS485 cable.
